Parking

The Hickory is located in the Downtown Champaign's Central Business District Zone. Buildings in this zone typically do not provide parking as they are considered by the city to be in the core of the downtown. Parking in this zone is provide by the city with city parking lots, on street parking and a new six story parking garage soon to be under construction.

Generally - there is metered parking in front of the building on Washington and the north half of the 500 block of Hickory. There is un-metered street parking on the south half of the 500 block of Hickory and all of Columbia Ave. Columbia is the east west street directly north of Washington. Both Escobar's Restaurant and Lounge (latin fusion cuisine) and The Columbia Street Roastery are on Columbia. Across Washington to the south are two city parking lots.
